Well things are looking up. I just finished doing the film on linux. Which is a "How to install Linux." I'm happy with the final shot. Now I have my friend editing it and later post it here. I'll have another video in the works. I find out what going on with that later.

PS. I'll have the video up soon. I just need more time on it.

What's Up?A Linux Tech show?

What would you say to a linux tech show. On the internet to download that would be starring Ubuntu in the first few episodes. I'm talking to some friends of mine and are thinking of starting things up. I just wanted to know what anyone else would like to say about doing this show about open source. I haven't seen any shows about open source and the ones that do just leave up for only 2 mins. My plan is to have a show that will show off open source and of course Ubuntu in a 20-30 min show.

Draft: 1. Installing Linux 2. Updating 3. Customize 4. Get other Software (Multimedia, programs and cool stuff).

I know it my sound corny but it will be for people who don't know about linux and open source. I want to show them an open source world.

Update: I have a donation button up if you want to support my work.

HACKMyth (Uses KnoppMyth)

The place sells an all-in-one PVR box on linux for $999. I would buy one but, you could build a better unit. I don't want to spend that much. Next they will delete your shows after a week like TVIO.

HACKmyth as listed.

The HACKmyth system offers wireless Home Automation control combined with the MythTV software on one box that plugs into your television set. With a simple remote control, HACKmyth lets you can take advantage of MythTV functionality without wrestling with time-consuming issues like hardware compatibility and complex installation. Plus, your system will download updates automatically, saving you the time and trouble of frequently checking for new update availability.
